  • Sonny Roshan

    Co-Founder and Chairman

    Sonny Roshan has been chairman and co-founder since 2011. AEON provides toxicology and genetic laboratory testing services to physicians and medical clinics in 48 states. From January 2000 to August 2010, Mr. Roshan served as the Chief Executive Officer of Universal Medical Services, LLC. In 2008, Mr. Roshan founded a chain of retail primary care clinics. Mr. Roshan also co-founded Palms Recovery Corporation, a provider of treatment for addiction, alcoholism, and dual diagnosis. Mr. Roshan also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Aeon Foundation from August 2013 to January 2015.

  • David C. Goldberg

    Chief Operating Officer

    David joined Aeon in 2017 as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he held a number of corporate and divisional leadership positions at Enzo Biochem, Inc., including the top managerial roles in both the clinical laboratory and life sciences divisions as well as serving as Vice President of both Corporate and Business Development. David has expertise across a wide range of corporate functions including strategic planning, marketing and sales, investor relations and compliance. He has also presented at a number of trade and investor conferences through the healthcare industry. Prior to Enzo, David held marketing management and sales positions with both Gallard Schlesinger Chemical Manufacturing Corp. and New England Nuclear. David received AB and MS degrees in Microbiology from Rutgers University, as well as an MBA in Finance from New York University.

  • Michael J. Poelking

    Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

    Michael joined Aeon in July 2017 after having performed in a variety of senior financial and operational management roles including almost 15 years in the medical industry.  He recently played a key role as the CFO of Amendia, Inc., completing the successful sale of the company to a private equity firm in 2016 after integrating 5 M&A transactions and growing sales 150% in just 2 years.  This significant growth resulted in the company being named to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list for the years 2014 and 2015.  While Michael has primarily been focused on growing small to mid-size companies in recent years, he has also performed for divisions of Fortune 500 companies including Wilson Sporting Goods (a former subsidiary of PepsiCo) and Berol Corporation, which was acquired by Newell-Rubbermaid.  Michael has been an integral contributor to strategic planning activities, raising investment capital, as well as coordinating Lean Manufacturing initiatives and implementing a number of ERP systems.  Michael is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago where he earned both an MBA and BBA in Marketing and Accounting, respectively.

  • Dr. Richard E. Mullins, Ph.D., D.A.B.C.C.

    Laboratory Director

    Dr. Richard E. Mullins has more than 25 years of experience directing clinical laboratories. He is the former director of the clinical laboratories at St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Emory University Hospital and the Children's Hospitals of Atlanta. Dr. Mullins obtained a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Virginia and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical chemistry at the University of South Carolina. He has been a diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Chemistry for over a decade. In addition, Dr. Mullins is an Eagle Scout and a lifelong supporter and leader of the Boy Scouts.

  • Shawn K. Desai, Ph.D., J.D.

    Chief Technology Officer

    Shawn Desai is a licensed attorney in Georgia and also a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Shawn obtained his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and his Ph.D. in chemistry from Emory University, where he was a George W. Woodruff Fellow. Shawn wants our clients to know that Aeon Clinical Laboratories has their best interests in mind.

  • Paul S. Suda, Esq

    General Counsel

    Paul S. Suda has been a licensed attorney in Georgia for more than 25 years, practicing in both State and Federal courts. Paul obtained his law degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Law. Paul brings to AEON years of experience in counseling hundreds of clients in a variety of business environments.
