Molecular microbiology identifies microorganisms including bacteria, fungi, and viruses through DNA detection. This technique is very sensitive and rapid compared to traditional microbiology procedures, creating a powerful diagnostic tool for physicians.
Our profile delivers a snapshot of a patient’s vaginal micro-environment covering 34 organisms. Trained scientists utilize cutting-edge technology to quantify pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacterial species, as well as detection of other disease associated organisms within the vaginal microbiome.
