AEON Global Health is a CLIA and Joint-Commission accredited laboratory located just outside of Atlanta, GA. Our proficiency testing is through the College of American Pathologists (CAP). On Friday, April 24th AEON completed its lab-developed test validation for Diagnostic Testing used to detect SARS-CoV-2 and received Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the FDA. Utilizing five Thermo Fisher Scientific Quant Studio 12K Flex Real-Time PCR Instruments, AEON can result almost 400 tests per hour per machine to achieve maximum throughput. Below are a few of the key points why processing COVID-19 tests across the country with AEON is a must:

• Reporting from 6 hours (stat orders) to 24 hours (regular tests) from the time the lab receives the sample
  
• Capabilities to perform approximately 2,000 SARS-CoV-2 tests per day
  
• Full concierge services including online scheduling, sample collection training, supplies, shipping, online portal results, and department of health reporting.
  
• AEON is located across the street from the 2nd largest UPS distribution facility in Atlanta, so our samples arrive around 9 am each day for processing
